"Eyes of Chernobyl" Weapon mechanics ---------------------------- - Different ammo types (Armor piercing, hollow point etc.). - Get a set ammount of magazines that you can fill with whatever ammo type you want. - If you pickup an enemy weapon you CANNOT reload it unless you have a magazine that works with that weapon, in your inventory. - Ammo checks AND magazine checks *Ammo checks will be 'hold and release', you hold down a button on your keyboard (or mouse) and you pull out that weapons magazine and bring it into view. Aslong as your hand is on that button, the magazine will stay out and a hud element will pop up showing you how much ammo you have left, and the ammo type inside. *Magazine checks will have the first person camera pan down to your chest to view your magazine pouches, hud elements will pop up and tell you how many mags you have left and what type of ammo you have in them. - No hipfiring, you have to go into ironsight mode to be able to shoot. - When you pull your weapon out for the first time you will chamber a new round and turn off the safety. - Draws and holsters will involve turning the safety on and off. - Empty reloads and non empty reloads. - EVERY weapon will jam, will be an extremely rare event but the likelyness of a malfunction will increase the more rounds you put through the weapon. - Different firemodes (semi, auto, burst [where applicable]). - No ammo or health counter on the default hud, only a compass at the top. - Every weapon will function like they do in the real world. - If you reload a weapon that has rounds left in the magazine, you lose the rounds that were inside (No magical resupplies).
